Beirut Brokerage Corporation S.A.L is regulated by Law Number 520, or the Fiduciary Law of June 6 1996, that provides investors protection against the insolvency or bankruptcy, of the agent(s) entrusted with the fiduciary assets or securities. Furthermore, fiduciary agreements enjoy tax benefits which include exemptions from movable assets tax, stamp duties, and capital gains tax. The Fiduciary Law, combined with the Lebanese Bank Secrecy Law, offer opportunities and added-value for both Lebanese and foreign investors alike.
